Referral to yet another Specialist.

The Pain Management doctor wants me to see a Neuro-Opthamologist since all my migraines start behind my right eye.

I have an appointment on July 30.

Of course this Doctor is 3 hours away so someone has to drive me.

Hubby says he will take me and we decided to get our eye exams and glasses there since there is a much bigger selection and much cheaper prices than where we live.

Hopefully it won't cost me too much out of pocket but I never know til I get billed.

Will let you all know how it goes.

I hope it goes well for you...I'm waiting to get into a well reputed neurologist team, but the first available apt is in October.  Ugh.  

It is nice having a vision specialist who understands the migraines and the visual effects they can create.  DH has very low vision (legally blind without contacts/glasses), and she works with migrainers too, so we've been lucky enough to have a specialist who knows the vision/migraine related stuff.
