anyone heard of bio identical progesterone for migraines/pms/menopause?

My shiatsu guy gave me a booklet about it and it claims to cure chronic migraines in women who also suffer severe pms. However I can't find much.on it online.

Any advice?

Yes, I have been taking natural bio identical progesterone for 4 years now. It reduced my migraine rate from 80% of days down to 20% of days. In the past 4 months I've also started on a program with a naturalpathic doctor to address overall hormone balance and nuero hormones. This is working very well. I'm down to no real headaches to speak of after 3 months. (See other thread on New Adventures in Hormone Therapy).

Finding it is a bit more of a challenge. At first I was able to order an oral pill version online, but that source can no longer sell it here in the US. Some people use a rub on gel, but I don't know what it's efficacy is. If you can find a doctor there who specializes in natural hormones, I would recommend that approach. I get mine from my naturalpathic doctor. It is a sublingual powder.

Ooooh interesting, how much do you/did u take? And how long before you noticed an effect. Do you know why out is so under reported on the internet?
