alice in wonderland migriane
did anyone read this article in the guardian yesterday??

i dont know anything about the alice in wonderland migrianes, do you still get the debilitating pain with them?

I sometimes have body distortion with my migraines............it is just like any other migraine aura for me and pain is not always present!

I, too, get the body distortion with my auras sometimes. And, yes, the pain usually follows the auras. It's the weirdest thing to experience... There's actually some really great literature out there about "alice in wonderland syndrome." Very interesting...

Yes, I get aura and typical (for me) head and neck pain, and then things just start looking funny. I'll take a sip of my water and need three attempts to put the cup on a table. I'll be walking the hallway to the bathroom, and the walls 'move' and I bounce like a pinball off the walls. Reading gets really strange as the paper texture seems to change page to page and if I'm on my kindle I struggle with a comfortable distance to read at, which I don't do at any other time.
