Hi ! I'm Lisa!

I am 23 and have had migraines since I was 12.

I have been reading all of these posts I am so glad that I have found this forum with everyone else going through the same thing.

I have been taking preventative Topomax, Magnesium, CoQ10, and Melatonin. And abortive Relpax.

After being on the Topomax for 4 weeks I have gone from only about 2 headache free days per week to entire 4 day breaks.. so some progress has been made

It is good to hear that your treatment works.

I have tried Topomax recently but could not tolerate it, due to bad side effects. But with this condition it is always trial and error in terms what works, or what does not for each of us.

Let us know of your further progress.

Ugh the side effects are horrible I know! I mean, they could be worse, but I am giving it time to see if it goes away. Tingles/ numbness from the knees down, numb upper lip, twitching nose, brain fog. No thank you.
