Has anyone tried this yet? I just bought it yesterday and did the 6 minute shake. It has been on TV. One of my coworkers bought it and said she felt results right away. I have gained a ton of weight over the past two years. I have finally gotten to the point where I have to do something about it.

My kids (joke) about my upper arms and how flabby they are. So I will do this and see where it takes me. Just wondered if anyone else has tried it. It comes with a CD to help you get "firm and fabulous arms and shoulders". lol It only cost $19.95 and I got it at Target.

Shake weight Empty Easy tips to help with weight

Sorry, no I do not know much about it, but here are some very easy tips which might help with the weight loss and exercise:

1/Before every meal, have a glass of plain water (no soda!) then follow it by an apple, or plum or some other fruit (but no bananas).
In many cases, you will find that you are not very hungry any more.
But when you are have your normal meal and then you will soondiscover that you are eating less, since you feell quite full, very soon.
If you still want a desert, have some fruit.
If you do not have fruit, just have water.
Belive me, once you get use to it, it is not so hard and when you have some very special occasions you can relax, and get back to it again.
This is more easy then it sounds - you get use to water before eating, very quickly.It fiils you up.

2/ Also change the size of your plate to a smaller one, and you will see how much less you eat - I love this one, I pile my little plate with food and this feels great, but the portion is not all that big in fact.

3/Have your last meal of the day by 6.30pm, and if you are stilly hungry have some fruit instead of snacks.

4/The most important thing is to remember is to BUY the right food for yourself, so you have everything at home and are not tempted to snack on the wrong foods out of boredom, or just becasue "they are there".
Just do NOT buy them!

If you absolutely hate fruit, you can have some salad before your meals, but do not add any of those bottled dressing, they are deadly! You can sprinkle some lemon juice with pinch of sugar, and add some fresh mint, or chives for falvour.

These steps are well tried and easy to follow, and they do not involve any expense,intensive exercises routines, or great lifestyle changes. It does bring results.

You can also tone your upper arms by holding two cans of beans in your outstreched arms in front of you, them bending them towards your chest and then striaghtening them very far out again. You can start with 5! Then each day add two more - see how far you can go, you will be pleased with yourself.
You can even do that when you watch TV.
This excercise works really well for upper arms and shoulders.

Mind you no matter what we do, our children will find something amusing about us, so I would not worry too much.
We make changes becasue we want to.

Besides it will be nice for thee spring to show off those trim lines in our new outfits, shops are full of them.

Wow Mini, thank you for the tips! I like the cans of beans and you are right I can do that in front of the TV.

I do like fruit so that will not be a problem. I will try to incorporate some of your tips into my diet.

I guess no one has tried the Shake Weight. It really is easy and with the six minute DVD it keeps you going. For $20.00 it was worth the try.

Anything that makes it easy, or fun, sounds great.

BTW I meant full cans for that exercise - then you can eat the beans (after your drink youre water, and and eat the fruit. I had a giggle about it - as it all sounds silly, but whatever works for us, is fine).

I found that easy workable solutions which suit our liefstyle are much better, then those rigid diets, or exercise routines.
So have fun, and things will be fine.

Ha Leslie, I really do not know. I remember only seeing it once. As long as I get some toning out of it I really do not care. I have been working out on the treadmill and now with this I can work my upper body. I really need something for I have gained 28 pounds in two years.

It is good to see you posting again. Hope your head has been behaving. Mine tonight is horrible.

I've seen that commercial too, Leslie..I was thinking the same thing.

Kim's mom..do you like it? Do you laugh outloud when it's been used?

Ellen has given it to certain stars..they have one for men now..

Well, I guess the commercial is funny. I only remember seeing it once and did not pay that much attention to it. My friend from work is the one who told me she bought it and felt the "burn". So I thought while I am working out on the treadmill I might as well get some upper body toning done too.

For 20 bucks I figured why not?! I guess from the posts I am getting and from my husbands remark of "You bought this?!" that it might be a joke. I did measure my arms before I started doing this with a measuring tape so in a months time I will see if it did any good. If so then it will be doing what I want.

The workout is only for six minutes and it comes with the DVD so it is easy to do. I cannot say if it has worked yet. I will let you all know in a month as long as I keep at it.

Kimsmom, I have seen all the sketches and had a laugh myself, however, I do actually think that the idea is a good one and have no doubt that you may see some results from this funny looking contraption. Good luck.

I really don't have idea on that but i can give you some tips on how to lose weight. Now these are based on my wife's experience. Very Happy

1. Avoid softdrinks and juices.
2. Eat low-carb meals.
3. Do regularly exercise.
4. Have enough sleep.
5. Avoid chips, cakes, ice creams and candies.

They had women on a daytime show try it out over a month and it worked. Surprise surprise! The women were shocked. I won't do it because I dodn't want my head and neck jolted. But there you have it it worrks.
