Spoons - theory of living with pain and fatigue
My dad, who suffers from a horrible neurological condition, sent me this yesterday. It's one woman with Lupus's analogy of living with chronic pain. It fits my struggle with chronic migraine to a T.
I'm sure some of you will have seen it before. If not, it's worth bearing with the twee graphics...

Thanks for sharing it, I have never seen it before tonight. Very good analagy of dealing with an illness, how much it limits our life. Hopefully I can share it with some people around me.

I understand more about Lupus, but I wouldn't say it is my life with pain of migraines.
My analogy could have spoons in it for what I eat and do, but throw in some hidden bear traps that go off unexpectantly and take hours to remove off of my head.

I check out the spoon lady's website fairly often and find it to be a good source of comfort. You can find her at youdontlooksick.com.
