this has happened to me several times, ronda.....i'll be signed in, and have just typed a long response to someone.

when i try to post it, i get slammed back to the log-in page, and my response disappears. very disheartening. how to avoid this? dianne

Try, before hitting the send button selecting your entire message, then use the Ctrl+C keys to copy your post to your clipboard.

That way if your message does get lost you can come back and paste it in again using the Crtl+V keys.

I often, though not always, do this as insurance against loosing posts.

+10 on what Mule Kick said. cheers

I remember back in the day's of Windows 3.1 and 95 when even printing could (would) crash your application or PC. I've been using this trick (to save my butt) for a long time. On Mac's too!

now, if i only knew what a clipboard was.......remember, i'm an antique person. although i've been doing internet stuff since 1997, i was never taught some of the total BASICS.
