Speaking of avocados. . . .

We have had several avacodos in the house lately because we buy them from a seller in front of the hospital, and they have been really good. Well, avocados are legal for birds. So I joked that I was trying to teach Chica to ask for avacodos (which she did today!). My friend Shirley replied, "Then it isn't murder. It's just assisted suicide!"

On another CHica note, my mom said that she really does like me. I said, "Of course she does. She tells me so every time she bites me!" Each time she managed to bite, she squawks out, "I like!" which is reserved only for the highest levels of excitement, or in other words, for trying to eat me. So now I am considered part of a balanced diet for Chica!
