Question about the topics page

I know this may sound like a little thing but maybe I am not the only person who is bothered by it. Next to the title of the topics is a circle with horizontal lines - sometimes those lines are scrolling. I don't know why sometimes the lines are scrolling but when there are more than just one or two doing it, it really throws off my very sensitive, visually triggered brain. Anyone else bothered by it or know why they do that? The combination of the horizontal lines and the motion is more than I can handle when I am having a bad day. Leslie

Yes, some days it really bothers me. I think it means someone is actively reading that post.

I've looked at other animated avatars but I'm afraid there is too much motion for folks.

It bothers me too and sometimes I can't ignore it. Without knowing the ins and out of this forum's configuration, I don't know if it's possible to get rid of them. But it might be something to bring up with Ronda. My feeling is that if it is possible to get rid of them and that's what folks want, I think Ronda would do it.
