Life is good at the moment :)

I went up to see my Mom this last weekend to reupholster her wing back recliner as her birthday present. This had to be the most well made chair on the planet! It had about 3 thousand staples that all had to be removed with a screwdriver and pliers. My right hand is swollen, I have several staple punctures and the chair came out great!!!

I'm also dating a new man. We've been dating about three weeks and he knows about the migraines, fibro and nerve pain issues and isn't scared away by all that. On our third date I showed up with my cane as the neuropathy in my feet made it difficult to walk. I figured if he scared easy, that would do it. But he's sticking! yeah! So I am building a friendship with him before I get romantic as I want to make SURE that we can have a conversation and really get each other before jumping into BF/GF status.

So aside from the usual health crap, life is good!

Love the chair! It came out great and the colors are beautiful. I wish I could do something like that.

Good luck with the guy. Building on a friendship first is alway good with the potential for more. I am so glad he is sticking around. It makes a difference in his charecter.

My daughter is dating a guy with a fatal disease. Basically there is no cure yet for him. He is great and I love his family. My duaghter understands his illness and treats him with the respect it needs and loves him for who he is as a 16 year old guy.

Sounds like your new guy is a good one. Enjoy all the newness of a new relationship. I wish you all the luck.
