Time to take a break from the pain meds

Been a rough week..........last night went to take some pain meds before bed and I wondered how many I would have to take to stop the pain permanently...............just a fleeting thought but scared me so no pain meds for me for now. Just can't trust myself to not give in to those thoughts that I can usually keep at bay.

I'm sorry you went to that "place". Hubby and I call it my dark place. I hate when I go there no matter how fleetingly.

You know your self best, but won't not taking something that gives you relief throw you deeper into the pain cycle?

Such a fine line we have to walk...relief? Or peace of mind.
