Tramadol for migraine headache:
Migraine headache is a neurological disease characterized by altered bodily perceptions, severe headaches, and nausea. Migraine is a severe painful headache, throbbing vascular headache caused by nerve cell production of pain signals. Migraine headaches result from a combination of blood vessel enlargement and the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around these blood vessels. There are many factors that can be causes migraine headache. These are allergic reactions, emotional stress, bright lights, fasting or skipping foods, loud noises, smoking, alcohol and tension headache. Tramadol 50 mg treats neurological diseases. Tramadol connects to receptors in the brain and stops pain transmitting. Tramadol works in certain part of brain and nervous system to reduce pain.

Re: Tramadol for migraine headache:
I've tried Tramadol with no relief whatsoever. Infact, I think I am allergic to it and get itchy all over and end up with a worse headache after taking it.
I also did some research and found that Tramadol in combination with some antidepressants can cause what is called Seratonin syndrome. This can be very dangerous and even fatal if not monitored.

If tramadol helps your headaches, aspirin or tylenol will likely help them too.

I was on Tramadol for awhile. It must not have done anything for me, because I am not taking it anymore.

I have tried Tramadol, it did help me on occasion, but sometimes, not always, it made me so sick! Very nauseaus! Had to use my suppositories that I have for migraines, I think it has some narcotic in it too. Wasn't worth it for me.

Tramodol was useless for me.
Serotonin syndrome can happen with triptans and anti-depressants, too. (I forget who mentioned this).

Interesting. I dream of a post world war III society on occasion. It is a recuring theme. Very interesting dreams, but society has always gone to hell and there is no government. People just do what they have to to survive. Some of the images are not too pleasant, but very realistic. They always leave me a little unnerved. Haven't had any like that for awhile. Haven't been doing Tramadol either and won't.

Tramadol is popular medication as "something strong" (lol) in Poland for reccuring persisting M
but most of the people who tried that say it's not effective at all. Or barely, unless it fits someone well.
Also, looks like depending perhaps on the dosage?, there is an increasing risk of serotonin syndrome if taken while on triptans:

I was recently denied Tridural (tramadol in extended release form) precisely due to the risk (medium risk)
of serotonin syndrome as I am taking quite a lot of Maxalt.
