feel like I am losing it

I have resently tried maxalt and if I take one and then one a few hours later its helping some. I have been limited to 12 per month. I tried to get a quanity over ride and my pcp was willing to do it and was told it had to be done my a neurolgist.
I then called my neurolgist and have been told because I dont want to try the preventatives he has suggested, that he will not do a quanity over ride. I have tried amitriptalyne and inderal and a few others in the past.


I am on very shakey ground and menatally dont want to or dare to try some of the drugs suggested. And I guess I do feel it is my right. With knowing my self.

I decied to order some on line at my own cost and upon placing the order I realise they { the maxalt} is coming from india.
I feel like a bad child doing wrong

I called the insruance co and was told that the nerolgist has a right however that is not correct that the insurance co will overide it if he request it without being on a prevenative.
the lady I spoke with said basicallly all you have to do is get a perscription for a prevenative and use it one day and that will cover that problem. so do I call my nerologist and say fine give me one of the prevenatives and not take it and then I can get the quanity overide or not.
frankly the mixed emotions of this is giveing me a migrane and I feel like a decietful child misbehaving.. help please

Ugh. What a position to be in. For safety I would get the preventative, fill it, don't take it and get the override. I wouldn't order from another country and try to work around the system you're in. My other thought is to change neurologists.

I called and left a voice mail saying I would be willing to try a preventavtive, but added I would like to have him clear me for 24 maxalt while I am waiting to see if the preventative works. Have not had a return call. I think they are on to my thoughts of how I am doing things ? Maybe I have become paranoid??

dont give up,they could have just been extr busy, call again in couple of days and im with becky on her advice, i wouldnt be trusting the meds from abroad as to how pure or what they are! dont give up hang on in there. big hugx
