Can Crying Solve Problems...?
I do not believe anyone notices, but I find when I enter the M section of this site, I usually talk about/say that I'm crying...
Well, I have had a M for the past 3-4 days. Today would be the fourth, but It's not really reached M status.. It's the symptoms alright, but just a some head pressure.
Anyways.. I cry a lot. When I mean a lot I mean A LOT!!!
Right now I just let out a huge cry/scream in a way (I'm really hoping it wasn't too loud )
And some.. yes some of the head pressure went away.
I find it odd, because crying is a trigger for me, as i know for some of you too. But to relieve pressure.. I've never felt anything like it.
My next research project I will assign to myself will be to find out if different cries mean different meanings. It sounds weird, but (that I understand) there is a way of classifying baby cries, there must be meanings for adult cries. (Kind of like dreams have different meanings..)

Perhaps this is how human language first developed -
by letting each other know how we were feeling, by different cry sounds?
I think this would make sense.
Crying is a bad, bad trigger for me (see my thread on the subject here) so I will not experiment, but good luck if you think it hepls.
BTW, Lilian- I think you get a prize for the most beautiful Avatar on this forum. Stunning.
Is that you?
Sorry, about you feeling so bad - there must be something in the air. I am fighting a strange predrome which makes me weary and fed up.

You summed up what I was trying to find... trying to say. It has to be a language in itself.
About my avatar.. no that is not me.. but it is a picture I took of a wooden hanging plaque I have had for.. well ever.
I have had it for as long as I can remember. And from it I have adopted my personal motto.. on the bottom it says "Believe in yourself, and all things are possible"
I have always lived by that saying and I always will. Thank you for noticing it. I find it stunning as well.
Lillian
Ps. One way of cooping with strange, negative, unwanted feelings.. I try to surround myself with positive things or objects that bring me joy. I have that plaque hanging where I can see it right when I wake up from bed.

I just wrote in response to you, but with my woozy feeling I have pressed the wrong button and it is all gone. Will write a later as I feel too tired now - it is hot and humid here.

Re: Can Crying Solve Problems...?
I dont cry as much as I used to. When I first got CFS I couldnt stop.
It was ridiculous. It made my head much worse.
Now I dont cry with the pain very often.
If I do it usually gives me a headache (which I almost never get),
But eases the migraine....release of tension maybe?
It has to just spill over, I couldn't make it happen.
Crying is now from emotion. Upset, hurt feelings.
I am too damn sensitive. That makes me cry.
If it doesn't then it makes me angry.
But I also struggle to watch sad movies, animals in particular.
Then I end up with a worse head....
It is an enigma isnt it?
It seems my level of pain can influence my tears, but tears dont always influence my pain
