new pain medication again
okay again.
after not being able to get embeda anywhere,
I called my doctor and got a script for what I gather to be a weaker pill.
i'm not sure, i'm no doctor, and I didnt even get to see one about it.
Embeda is a morphine extended release pill. What I have now is an immediate release
(i'd prefer extended, my migraines last all day long, i'd rather not take nine million pills.)
and I think its more alone the lines of Oxycodone, which if I'm correct, is
closer to the family of Vicodin, which doesn't work for me.
Its called Nucynta 50mg. Once again, a new drug but it was available. I got all
the information i have from the web and my new super awesome pharmacist.
He said that it is for moderate to severe pain, it causes drowsiness and dizziness.
(I suppose thats euphoria for some folks, but not for me. I want to avoid this, and I
told my physician that.) I don't think I'm happy with being a guinea pig. Two new
drugs in a row that are way too expensive for me to do monthly is a bit much.
I've read a few reviews on pharm.com and apparently a lot of folks say this drug CAUSES headaches.
They also say it doesn't work well, but all of them have had pretty high tolerances due to
years of pain medication regimens, whereas I have not had much experience at all.
I'll try it since I already spent the money but man, I hope its not a bust.
Anyone ever try it or know anything about this? Feedback is really appreciated.

A lot of our migraine medication says it causes headaches.
I have no feedback for you, but yours would be appreciated.

Never heard of that, sorry. I'll be interested to hear of anybody's experiences with this medication.
