Your Website?
I just finished reading Heelerlady's thread about her beading business. And I know how talented Brent is. So I was wondering if anyone here has a website where they sell their wares?
I can't promise I will buy anything but if you don't mind sharing, I'd love to take a peek.
Please post your URL in this thread. I bet you will find a lot of us would like to see it.

Re: Your Website?
Leslie,
Now that Brent and Milo have convinced me about the website...I'll be looking into it. Will post once I get my act together. But I may scan a few of my better photos and post them as well.

Re: Your Website?
I only have one left now and it's only a shell now, as I set my home business aside about a year ago. I worked a lot with resin and I found it triggered my head.
You can go in and look at a few of my sold items though in one of my old old sites. I mostly do custom work now...couldn't keep up the pace of real business on top of my other work hours.
my old store is miloandotis.etsy.com

Re: Your Website?
It's also easier now then before to set up a website. GoDaddy has domain names dirt cheap and numerous sites have generic templates to convert into your site. PayPal has a very easy shopping cart set up. I wish all this was around ten years ago when I had my home business. It would have been more profitable and a whole lot easier.
This one easy web design business that advertises on TV a lot. I don't have any personal experience with them though.

$5 a month! That is mind blowing. I paid from $100-$150 per month for my site and another $30 for a secure server. $15-20 for a credit card merchant acct and $80 an hour for a web designer to manage it.
You kids have it so easy now.
My business now just comes from four forums and is a very specific type product. That is the single cheapest advertising.

Hey Brent,
Just tried to FB you and only one Brent Finnigan popped up. I don't think you graduated HS in 2009! What's I'm doing wrong?

Brent posted a link to his facebook page on the topic of Cedar Projects. If you copy and paste it into the search bar - he comes up. That's how I found him.

Re: Your Website?
Mom and I mostly sell used books, we also have many other items (mostly used, but a few are new). My mother has more items listed than I do. We both have items in both of our stores.

Website
I have a website, as most of you know. Not only do I showcase my novels but I advertise my Cafe Press shop. What is that you may ask...or may not but I'll tell you anyway. LOL Cafe Press is an on-line business where you can make products and sell them. At my store I mostly sell products promoting my books. I have coffee mugs that say, "Save a Vampire Donate Blood" to promote my vampire series. I have t-shirts, magnets, calendars,p illows, journals and so much more. If you would like to check it out, you can go to http://www.cafepress.ca/shielasbooks. And of course, my website is www.shielasbooks.ca
Here is a picture of the coffee cup I sell.
