Love Update

UPDATE:
Well as you all know Mike and I quit seeing each other due to his promotion and transfer. I was really upset about it, but I could never see long-distance relationships working.
On Saturday he wanted to see me...... so i met him.
He tells me that he has quit the forman job, is back on his old job. Says being with me is more important than the promotion or the money. Says he is in love with me and can't let us go.
So........... I am back in a relationship!!

In the United States of America,
Where men obtain their self worth by and large from their work, their careers, their jobs ....
A man, who is a rational and mature man - not an utter whacko ...
Gave up a job he really wanted to live in a state without snow ...
Because he can't get over you?
Because he values his feelings, his desires for a relationship with you over his career?
Hmmmm ....
This could be a VERY good thing!

I almost don't know what to think, I can't say that I've ever had anyone sacrifice anything for me (except my parents).
It is a little overwhelming!
But, honestly, I think I've been in love with him since the moment that we met.
I am just going to enjoy the ride, to wherever it may take me!

Congrats Beth, I'm so happy to hear your great news! I was kind of disappointed at how things turned out when you last posted an update but now I feel like I am living the faery-tale with you so keep it up! Your making us all dream big!
