I don't use Triptans. Why? Well bc they don't work on my head pain or any other symptoms however they DO make my neck stiff my fatigue triple and my stomach BLAH. Not to mention it's too tricky bc I have way too many to stay within recommended #s.

That being said, this lovely winter weather passing through, along with a ton of stress ( see post in Misc) brought a WHOPPER of an M today. I only have a few pain meds left til I can get refilled next Wednesday, so I thought, hmmmmm maybe I'll try one of those Treximet I had left over.

Ugggghhhh. Bad idea J! Now I remember EXACTLY why I don't mess with those. I had big plans for tomorrow too Sad

Well I'm a neighbor slightly to the north (2 hours or so) and I feel your pain. Low pressure fronts seem to make mine worse (I have them every day so it's a matter of severity). That being said...I've been miserable since yesterday afternoon and starting about 5 pm today I started feeling better. So I hope it means things are clearing out and I hope yours work like this too and that you start to feel better too. Smile I know why we do this to ourselves though...we think, oh I'm running short on X but I have a bit of Y left. I'll save X and use up Y, while forgetting there's a reason why there's a bit of Y left. It's not there because it's our drug of choice. I think we've all been there with one drug or another - selective amnesia...wait - drug induced amnesia. Razz

Oh yes and this..... The "I'm so flippin fatigued but I can't fall asleep"
ewwww this med makes me crappy!!! And crabby... Lol.

Maybe I'm being too harsh... I think this is just a really really bad M and some of how bad I feel is that.

I'm rambling. Going to puke again, grab an ice pack and try to rest.

I flippin love my life right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt last night how you feel tonight. Just crappy... it's weird - you feel so awful you want to hide from the world, yet you don't want to entirely be alone. Just sucks! I can tell whatever is going on may be trying to come back for round 2. Just one of those weird sensations. Which is probably code for it's time to go to bed. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

It's almost like some weird voodoo curse. All my life one of my favorite past times has been sleeping. Any place any time. Wake up so refreshed. Up til 3:00 am (back then it was to party though)? Sleep til 2:00 pm.

Now, four hours straight is a good a night.

I hear ya, Charlotte. And then your head hurts from not getting enough sleep, but you can go to sleep because your head hurts. It stinks!
