I'm Australian (naturalized), too. Happy Australia Day to everyone.

We had a lovely day, thank you kindly.

There are rules to Australia Day. One of them is that if the public holiday falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, ie it doesn't make a long weekend, and you live on or near the gold coast, the place to be is on a boat on the Broadwater. If it's a long weekend going away camping or the like is obligatory.

We had an Aussie BBQ today at work to celebrate!

I just had a relaxing day at home - managed to clean out my spare bedroom a bit. Got rid of some clutter which was nice and had a migraine free day - lovely. Shame today is ruined with a migraine and i've come home from work because of it. Oh well, 1 day was nice.
