Acute renal failure and sepsis...i'm sorry
I'm sorry I should have said acute renal failure..this happened the last four days of Oct...still have symptoms and my labs aren't right..I could have died..and I didn't know it...and wouldn't have been able to say good-bye to my sons,Erik,Mom,sister , nieces, brother in law, nieces husband and my best friend and all of you..crying.
Saw the Dr. last week and will talk tomorrow. I don't know if they'll put me back in and it's almost CHRISTmas and my baby's 14th birthday..I don't have any gifts for them.

This has to be awful for you! I am so sorry, so now what?
Don't have a clue what to say, but I pray the Lord will intervine on your behalf, and give you a miracle. I do believe He is in the buisness of Miracles..................

Silly thing, as though anyone will expect presents when your so sick.
Even if you do go back to hospital, everyone can come to you if your in over Christmas.
Do you knit or crochet. Are you up to making your boy a scarf? My husband treasures the scarf our son made for him. Can someone pop down the shop for wool?
Making something simple might pass the time if you do have to go back in.
Take care, hope your results are looking better.

What a trauma for you and your family! I'm so sorry. Things like this really puts in place what is really important and your 14 year old is going to care more that mom is alive and well, than if there is stuff under the tree. There is time for spoiling later.
Prayers to you that this ends soon. Give yourself a break and heal as you need to. So glad you are here with us. Big HUG

Oh Greeneyes,
don't be silly. The last thing you should be worrying about is presents. You need to focus on getting better ... that's the biggest gift you can give at the moment.

Greeneyes,
These women are right, you must rest. And take care of yourself. Your family would much rather have you than any gifts..
I have a friend who gets "seasonal change disease" almost every year at this time. Her kidneys quit functioning. They put her on high dose of pretnizone for months. It is very frustrating for her, so I can get a little picture of what you are going throught.
Take care of yourself,,,,
I am sending hugs too!
