Time magazine article on rx abuse

Hi All,

I read an article in Time today about the "epidemic" of prescription drug abuse in the US. I hate these articles because they make it so hard for patients who need medication for pain to get it. It also further stigmatizes patients with chronic pain. Here is the link to the article;

Thanks for the link, SM, I hate stories like this too, they are usually skewed to make prescription drug users look bad.

Thought I'd mention though, that the article can't be read unless one has a subscription to Time magazine. I couldn't get beyond the opening paragraph.

I really really really HATE these stories. They are usually over hyped and focused on the abusers and offer no view of the other side of the chronic pain sufferers, of if it does it's minimized.

Remember, if it bleeds it leads!
