But it is now Migraine Awareness Week in the UK.
It is a virtual attendance on FB, no travel or even getting out of your pit required.
AND, support is dismal. Loads of people I know do have migraine are not showing support.
Given the amount of people on FB, and the encouragement from people like Teri.
It is pathetic. And this event is watched and noted. Posters are up in surgeries, libraries, and places of work.

We need awareness and this event might be over here, but it is for the good of us all.
We need to make the medics and the public realise what Chronic Migraine really is.
So please, go to the link and click to attend if you haven't already.
And post in on your page, unless you are one that cant reveal your migraines because of circumstances.
You can still support though. Everyone knows someone with migraine...

Thanks Teri. It is very disappointing.
I have "famous" people supporting Ha!!
But some of my own friends and family are not.

How can we gripe about lack of support and attention?
It does seem not many people really care much at all.

I think I am going to make myself un popular, but I dont care.
This sounds like something and nothing, but it isnt.
Otherwise our two big associations wouldnt bother doing it.

But I mention that only because, I do believe the initial misunderstanding put people off, and they wouldn't know to go back.
Unless they visit our pages, they wont know it was wrongly posted. And they wont go back and "attend".

So I thought it needed mentioning here as well.

I was a little disappointed that more of my friends didn't support it too, Pen. So many people who KNOW how this has turned my life upside down. Not sure what would get more people to acknowledge it.

Don't be discouraged, Pen. You did a wonderful job of promoting it. Simply wonderful....despite not feeling well so often.

i agree pen, as may of my friens havent "attended" either, even after sending personal messages afetr it didnt post on the wall. am at a loss! do think tho as you say that people thinks it is a proper meeting to go to or something ??!!
