Paging CRT and other computer brains....iMac LED

dad's looking at new computers and is concerned about LED montiors with their very glossy displays. he's a migraineur too but gets them very rarely now. lights are a major, major trigger for him.

anyone have input about LED monitors.

I have a MacBookPro at work and it seems to be easier on my eyes than the Gateway HD monitor I have at home.

I'm not much of a techie so I can't give you anymore specific info than that.

There is a definite learning curve switching to a Mac, but I'm getting to where I vastly prefer it. And since I was able to install virtual windows, I can run all the software applications I need for work.
