what do those of you who have chronic migraine do to deal with pain?

With my chronic daily headaches I just try and deal and go on. After a year of this constant pain I am becoming used to it. I get a migraine on top of the daily headache quite often, sometimes daily as well.

When I have a migraine it is always at least an "8 or 9" and if I'm at work I have to focus on work. Of course I have my beautiful sunglasses on almost all the time. Hate computer screens and flourescent lighting!! I don't have the option of just leaving or taking a nap though that would be nice. When I'm at home with a bad one I just lay on the couch or bed or my favorite thing is to sit in the rocker and rock. It's a great distraction and the motion is soothing to me.

Absolutely no reading, tv, talking or music if it's bad. I can barely stand to even have my head touched. I have found this summer that I do like a fan blowing on my face.
