My head has been ok for me. Have now been back on day shift at work for 3 weeks and I know it is helping. Have been putting lots of time in trying to finish Liliana's new grooming room for her buisness. It really looks great and hope to be ready to use in a week. My son who has been going through lots of issues is alittle better with his depression. But he did tell me he tried to end it all about a month ago. The only reason he told me this is he took so many pills and things there is no way he should have lived. But after he wrote a note he then woke up 10 hours later. He now thinks there must be a reason for him to be here. So I hope he has learned from this. Just do not know what more I can do.
Saw my Dr last week and have a lump where it should not be. He does not like the look of it. So I see a surgeon May 5th and look into removing it and doing a biopsy. The hope is it has no fingers spreading out under it. So that is all I need. Have been cancer free for 22 years. Just hope we are removing it in time. My worry is I had this for about a year now and never thought a thing about it. Then about a month ago it started to get bigger. And there is no pain. So it is another test for my faith. All I can think about is my kids. So will see what the Dr says Wed. Just hope we can remove it asap. Well now have 2 girls waiting for me to read a book. About Fairys!! So Tinkerbell here I come!

Best of luck Billy,
Really hope it's just a weirdo lump that comes to nothing.
Your son is a worry. Don't know where you are but are there local suicide councillors?
My friend is one and she is such a caring lady. She did her degree after my father suicided and was devasted that she didn't do more.
Perhaps you can explain this to your son, that the councillor he sees will probably have some sort of personal background with suicide to specialise in this area.

So sorry to hear about your health worries and concerns about your son. I will be very interested in knowing the results of your biopsy once you know them, of course.

You're in our thoughts,

Saw Dr. and he said before biopsy if I wanted he could try to remove lump in his office. I agreed. So it took about 30 min. It was a cyst about the size of a golf ball. I had no idea it was that big. He sent it off for biopsy and will find out results next Friday. So I am glad it is out. Just one spot that looked so so. But he thought overall good it is out and would bet things are going to be clear. So thanks for the support. I just needed to talked to my friends -- and I have none better than you guys.

Will let you know what I find out later. Had 7 stitches deep inside and 5 outside. Lily says it looks good. Goodnight

Billy,

What a relief that the lump is gone!

Sounds like the doctor is pleased with what he saw so that is a blessing.

Please take care and let us know when you get the final results.

I called my Mom and added you to her church's prayer chain so there are lots of folks lifting you and your family up in prayer.

Get some rest and take good care of yourself.

Hang in there, Billy Ray. Hoping all is benign and you only end up with a cool scar to show your grandkids. make sure you come up with a good story about the scar ... something the kids will like ... a knife fight in an Asian bar late on night ... a shark bite ... something cool.

All joking aside ... I wish you the best.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Bill. I will be eager to hear your doctor's good news once pathology has alerted him. I also like Richard's scar story idea. Maybe we can have a contest to come up with the best one?
