I declare my funk is over!

Just took my first shower in three days and I'm going to get dressed, put some make-up on and have a successful Christmas shopping day. That is my declaration for the day!

I'm going to start with a splurge on a Large Caramel Latte (with WHOLE milk and whipped cream, of course) and tonight hubby is taking me on a date.

Now, if I just don't run myself into the ground shopping... but I'm hoping the crowds will be smaller on a week day.

They are not crowds......they are just harmless moving two legged blurbs in wintercoats and they just bounce off of you when you bump into them.

Been a great day so far. Got most of my Christmas shopping done, actually got people to wait on me and am going to get ready for my date. I'm sure most of you wont think it's much of a date, but our local movie theatre shows Monday Night Football on the movie screen for free. I really enjoy it.

Given that hubby doesn't like it football I think it's great that he's going with me.

I did realize when I was driving that it had actually been FOUR days since I took a shower. I was in a real "funky" funk. Phew-eee

Ah man,
Thank you for making me feel better! Now I don't feel so alone about sometimes not being as
"fresh" as I should be. I'm way guilty of this, too. LOL!
One day I was so tired from my daughter being sick with pneumonia,
I leaned over on my own shoulder and closed my eyes to be awakened
by my own funky fresh scent! I turned that opportunity to nap into a shower instead

I guess we all have those days

Thanks for making me feel better too about the shower thing. I don't even want to mention what my record is! It's so exhausting to take a shower when you're in a lot of pain. My husband always tells me it'll make me feel better, the hot water and all, for my muscles. But sometimes it just completely wipes me out. Lame!

I've been doing my shopping online, and it's much easier. Free shipping and I get the gifts wrapped. Hope your daye was fun.
