I have, when I was in my teens. Worth getting the bloodwork done even if it's just to rule it out.

Anemia, possibly, due to a low blood Iron? It's definitely worth a blood test.

I had it in college. Fibro and chronic fatigue also have symptoms that mimic mono, among other conditions. Migraine and fibro (plus IBS) can be co-morbid for many. I have fibro and a daily headache condition and suspected IBS, but not migraine. How long is lately? I definitely know how the exhaustion goes. Lately I'm having a tough time prioritizing what to go to the doctor for as everything seems to be flaring up at once! Hopefully your doctor can have some answers for you. Blood tests are really simple for a start. Any new meds? Best wishes.

sherri, see your doc.

a blood panel should help. i don't have a real feeling that it's mono, unless you've been exposed.

without the lab data, it's pretty tough.

good luck!

I had mono when I was 20. I also had tonsillitis and strep at the same time. I was in the hospital for 11 days. I remember how exhausted I was. After I was better, I got Impetigo (skin infection). I was a mess!

This might help: http://www.medicinenet.com/infectious_mononucleosis/article.htm

I also think you should see your doctor. If you're not feeling right, it's always the best idea.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna call on Monday. It could just be the migraines and all the meds. Who knows? But I want to be sure. Nothing to do for it anyway, it would just be an "answer" anyway...

I had blood work a few months ago to test for lymes disease, and the dr. testing said my blood results showed that I had had it in the past sometime????

I had it in my late 20's. My primary symptoms were a sore throat that didn't go away for several weeks (deeper down in my throat than a typical sore throat) and fatigue.

I had a blood test a couple months ago that showed the epstein-bar virus levels were up again. A follow up a few weeks later showed they were down. Not sure why that happened. flower

I had it when I was 18 with zero complications. I don't remember a lot but I remember going to bed at 10p, waking at 8, napping at 10, waking about 2 and then maybe another short nap later in the afternoon and then being up for 4-5 hours. That went on for weeks and it was more than being run-down, just couldn't stay awake.
