Aura effects

I rarely have auras. I don't think I've had more than a dozen in all the years I've had migraines, and I only rarely have developed a migraine after an aura. But I had an aura two days ago that was a bit different. I didn't develop migraine pain at all, but immediately after the aura, I felt the same fog, lack of mental acuity, and sleepiness that I almost always feel after a full-fledged migraine. This went on for most of the day. It was just unusual for me and thought I'd mention it to see what your experiences are.
