I've been up since 1:30 this morning with a killer migraine.  Ignoring last week's insensitive doctor's scolding and going in to my regular provider for painkillers/anti-nausea shots.

I thought today would be better, but between the weather system that moved through, getting my period and lack of sleep, I just can't take the pain.

Wishing all a good day.

I hear ya MT!

My step-sister called me yesterday to tell me that my "Mom" passed.  She was actually my step-mom but after 30 years... she WAS my MOM!  So, I had to notify several of my sisters, make arraingements with one to fly her from FL to PA, my own arraingements to fly from NC to PA, car rentals, etc.....

She is suppossed to make the room accommodations but couldn't do it last night due to HER Monster Migraine so hopefully she can get it done this morning.  We're at least going to be able to meet up in Philly for the last leg of the flight up there so we can be together for it.  That and the fact that we will be spending another sister's birthday with her on Sat are the only good things about this whole thing.  Certainly not looking forward to it but going to pack pleanty of the pain and anti-nausea meds.  Have 4 days to get through without my hubby and this is the FIRST time we have ever spent more than a few hours apart since May of 2003 when I went on disability.

Take care all and hope you have some Blessed Monter free days!

The perfect storm. Empty RELIEF!

My NP is so awesome.  I told her about the insensitive remarks the doc on Friday had made and she gave the very professional version of "He can kiss my ass, and that everything we had tried had not worked, therefore the use of Demerol, Phenergan and Toradol was justified".

Sorry to hear about your mom Lori, and hope that your monster migraines give you a decent break during your travels.

micheletroyer- as another Kansan, I hope today's front didn't get you too bad. I'm hurting, but there's more than just the weather contributing. IDK where in the state you are either, so that can change if this front's giving you trouble. I'm KC metro, and I had trouble sleeping as the front rolled in.
