Will prob take one more tonight and then just one a night
Sounds reasonable?

Re: piriactin/ cyproheptadine
I had never heard of this drug so I had to look it up.
Looks like it is an antihistamine like Benadryl.
When I get my major migs that my daily meds don't cover, I get a shot of Dilaudid and Vistaril.
Periodically there are shortages of Vistaril (there is one right now) and in that case they give me
Benadryl with the Dilaudid and Zofran.
The Vistaril helps me sleep it off and calms my nausea and the combo of the Benadryl and Zofran works just as well.
I read that they are not sure why the Cyproheptadine helps with migraines but that it works well for some people.
I am so glad it helps you.
So you are just going to take the 8mg at night at this point because of the sedation, is that correct?
I think you have handled it just right.
The Benadryl makes me sleep for hours, so I can understand why you cannot take the Cyproheptadine during the day.
Thanks for posting this like I said I had never heard of this particular drug.
Let us know how it goes for you.
