My Dr. Appt. The good and the bad

Good-My cyst is gone and I don't have any cysts or polyps on or in my uterus.

Bad-I have to have an endometrial ablation next thursday. I'm scared a bit, I hear cramps after can be kinda bad. I need a pain med vaca before hand so I am sure to get good pain relief.

And I guess the decision on no 3rd baby (daughter ) has been made final FOR me.

Just thought I'd update you since some of you have been following along with me.

Glad to hear your good news, sorry to hear your bad news. Hope the procedure goes smoothly. Excuse my ignorance but will that procedure put an end to your child-bearing? I had a total hysterectomy at age 35-ish (can't always remember) and although we always new we were content with our 2 daughters, I sometimes wished just for the option to add to our family.

Yes And same exact sediment....we were pretty confident that we were good with our 2 lil boys.....but to have that option gone is...saddening.

Thanks for the update. Pain after ABD surgery is nothing compared to migraines...at least in my many surgeries. It's more discomfort then pain.

I am so sorry to hear about the decision being made for you about the pregnancy, but I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason. I thought the adoption idea was a really good one! I am glad that nothing more serious is going on with relation to your health than what was determined. Where are you going for the proceedure? I'm keeping you in my prayers!

I had a hyserectomy when I was 30 so was unable to have any more children after that... I'm just happy that I was able to have my two before my lady parts decided to go haywire. Keep us updated on how you are doing. There is a bit of grief when you realize that you can't have any more babies. It can sometimes hit out of nowhere and does fade with time. Hugs.

I'm looking forward now to a time when I get to hold grandbabies... My son HAS to wait until I'm 50 so it's another two years before they are allowed to gestate.
