alice in wonderland syndrome

Post  chelle8178 on Mon May 21, 2012 7:08 pm

I, too, get the body distortion with my auras sometimes. And, yes, the pain usually follows the auras. It's the weirdest thing to experience... There's actually some really great literature out there about "alice in wonderland syndrome." Very interesting...

Yes, I get aura and typical (for me) head and neck pain, and then things just start looking funny. I'll take a sip of my water and need three attempts to put the cup on a table. I'll be walking the hallway to the bathroom, and the walls 'move' and I bounce like a pinball off the walls. Reading gets really strange as the paper texture seems to change page to page and if I'm on my kindle I struggle with a comfortable distance to read at, which I don't do at any other time.
