My Sweet Son...
I had a HORRIBLE breakthough migraine today.. maxed out the Imitrex with NSAIDs, didn't work so I eventually went in for the IM medications from my doctor.
When I was in the bathroom alternation between blowing my nose and vomiting my 10 month old handed me a tissue!! How sweet yet sad at the same time, ya know? He has definitely seen me in that state more than a few times

Re: My Sweet Son...
awh try to think of it in a positive way
both my sons who are now young men grew up with me dealing with my migraines. My youngest son used to pat my back when I was being sick when he was a toddler, it still makes me smile now
If anything I think it teaches them to be considerate and well behaved. Both of them knew not to run around the house making lots of noise if I was in pain and often when I was incapable of even standing up they would entertain themselves instead of whining they are bored. Can't imagine dealing with that whilst having a migraine!!
Nowadays they just leave me to get on with it lol!

Re: My Sweet Son...
That is really sweet!
And I agree that I think they have more empathy for others.
I remember my daughter years ago (she is 26 now) calling me after having her first bad migraine that lasted days and telling me she was sorry because she really didn't realize before how bad they were.
Luckily she rarely has one now.
That is a blessing to me.
Love,
Cindy
