Dr. Robbins: Could you give me your feedback on the migraine pain device called the Cefaly. I just came across it online. I am considering purchasing it but would like feedback first as it is expensive. Thankyou. G. I suffer from daily migraines.

Things like this are very intersting. But I do have a lot of caution at the same time.

Same question was asked a while back:

Note, that Terri Robert tried it and it did nothing for her.

25 years ago there was a Tens for headache, the PSL unit.....it bombed out, as Tens almost always do....they have a placebo effect, buzzing and vibrating, some claim to increase serotonin, but they do not usually work, or they only work for a few days or weeks. Nothing is new..for instance, in 1900, people were sneaking in Aspirin over the border from Canada, just like now, cause the Aspirin was cheaper in Canada than in the US..that ended when alot of fake Aspirins were imported(mostly talcum powder).........L.Robbins,M.D. http://www.headachedrugs.com

Dr. Robbins: Your input saved me wasting a lot of money and being let down again. Much appreciated. Gail PS They make it sound quite convincing.
