I had never heard of applesauce triggering migs.

Unless a med comes as a liquid, a chewable, or a disintigrater tablet, I crush the tablet, or open the capsule, and take with applesauce.

Check the label on the applesauce and make sure it isn't artificially sweetened or "preserved". Good applesauce should have ONLY apples in it but will be darker because of no citric acid added.

I can my own apple sauce.

It is one of my go to foods when I have a migraine. I don't have to chew. It isn't too bad coming back up and it doesn't upset my stomach.

But each person is different.

Apples are a trigger for me. I found it out when I tried the elimination diet.
