Why did my toenail fall off?
On my big toe! No pain, no injury. I noticed the side of the nail was kind of jagged and when I touched it the whole nail flipped. It's only held on by one side.
My poor eldest son almost passed out
I have polish on it so I cant tell what color the nail is. Even though the nail and nail bed doesn't hurt right now I'm not anxious to put nail polish on it. Yikes!
I did have a pedicure done in a salon about a month ago.
On a side note, I guess it's the nursing home for me. Eldest son proved he won't be able to take care of me LOL He has to leave the room when hubby prepares my Toradol shot.

Maybe a fungal infection? At least there was no pain. Poor kids!

I have lost toenails many times. They must be just really weak. If I stub my toe, often I'll lose the nail. I have to keep mine really short, or they pull off easily. They'll be sore for a couple days with pressure, and then they're fine. Glad yours is fine!
