I have been sent more information on these teeth devices.
I think we discussed them a while back.
Anyone tried and did it help please?

I haven't tried this exact device, but a mouth guard that prevents me from grinding my teeth can help my tension and pain triggered migraines. However, even with a mouth piece I still have migraines.

This one seems to fit the front teeth only.
I had a splint and wore it every night for 6 months, not a bit of difference...

I was examined by a dentist who fits the NTI device. He also specializes in cranial-facial pain, along with his regular dentistry practice, he said I did not need one.

X-ray, checked my bite, felt the jaw and neck muscles, had me grind my teeth, and various postures, and jaw movements.

One interesting posture, he had me bite down on pencil like stick, while facing him, to see if that would help my head posture and relieve my headache. My neuromuscular therapist explained how that would determine if the headaches were caused by TMJ problems or not. I see her on Monday and I will ask her again to see if I can understand how a pencil held in my mouth would determine if the NTI device would help.

The whole exam took about an hour. He said he could fit me with the NTI, if I wanted one, but he felt it would not help me. An honest man!
