Hit My Head Today

Whacked my head good today with the trunk hatch of my SUV. Hard enough to make me say "Ow" out loud, and it made my top teeth hurt. To make matters worse, it is right in the spot where I had surgery to have the intrcranial pressure device implanted (and subsequentally removed a week later due to complications), and I am scared.

I called my parents and my husband right after it happened, so if anything happened they knew what was going on. I taught my 9 year old how to use my cell phone to call either of them (we were at our old house and we no longer have phone service there).

It's still kind of sore right there, and I have a gentle headache. My neck hurts a little, too.

It's been about 5 hours since it happened, and I am not dizzy or anything, just a little cautious about potential bleeding in the brain since that happened to me 2 years ago following shunt surgery. Of all the things to happen, right? And on the heels of a positive visit with the neurosurgeon.

Just my luck.
