new theory Empty new theory

Have a new theory...............my migraines became daily about a year and a half ago about the time that my daughter's cat died. I do have an allergy to cats but as long as I didn't touch the cat my allergies were not bad. Fast forward to present time - I am visiting my son, daughter-in-law and brand new grandson and they have cats and my allergies are in full bloom! However, my migraines have backed off and now that I think about it whenever we have visited them they have not been a problem. So I know that some people's food/animal allergies trigger their migraines........do you think the opposite might also be true? That exposure to allergens and the body's production of histamine can keep migraines at bay???

you may be right; i haven't a clue.

maybe i'm contributing to my daily head pain by taking one antihistamine or another....every night of my life so i can sleep.

You must have been reading my mind.
Mum was saying she can walk into her best friends house 9-10 times and have no reaction to their cats.
The tenth, it's all on.
I have been trolling my blood tests, and I think my reactions come in bouts.
One day on, another day off.
This reflects in the eosinophils level (I think, maybe????)
Which relates to my particular problem with oesophagus.???
Arh.. don't you just love the circles we go round.
So why one day and not the next??

Interesting theory. You very well might be on to something.

Keep us posted if this theory continues to be true for you. Maybe we can get someone to do scientific research on it. flower

At this point I would believe anything. It looks like you're going to have to move in with your son if this is true. (:
