It's been a while since I saw a rainbow this bright.

Wow, beautiful. I've never seen such a vivid rainbow. Even the photo is breathtaking. I can't imagine how it was in real life.

If you have ever tried to photograph a rainbow you know how frustrating it is. The brilliance and colors never show up as well on the pic. This one had enough dark clouds behind it for better contrast.

I love rainbows! Every time I see one I am amazed. We get some intense ones because when it rains, Mt. Diablo acts as a cloud catcher so you can get some good dark clouds for a backdrop.

Whether against clouds or a blue sky, the are amazing!

Great job capturing them!

Thanks, Brent. I had never seen a rainbow until I was an adult. They are very rare on Long Island.

This image of a double raindow, brings to me a very important event: about 4 years ago when I was considering uprooting myself from the familiar London area, which was my home for over a quarter of century, in order to move to a completely different part of the country (a great risk in every way) and I was house-hunting at the time here, I suddenlysaw a stunning double rianbow in the sky, and suddenly I knew - I had to make that move.
I am not supersitious, I just knew...Sometimes you do. The rainbow was so bright and so clear - it was a messagethat all is going to be well. And it is.

I am so glad I listened to the rainbow - I have been extremly happy here.
I forgot all about that rainbow but your picture reminded me, Brent. Thank you.
