Lonnng day in the ER
Warning - ER for Gyne probs not migraine..... procede at your own will.
So I had my Endometrial Ablation MArch 12th with the hopes that it would help with my excessive menstrual bleeding and cramping. Two weeks post-op....bleeding. Ok....period maybe?? Yeah.... FIFTEEN flippin days later.....STILL bleeding and awful awful awful cramps. I called the doctors office this a.m. after being up in tears on my floor with a heating pad almost all night, and they tell me I have to go to the ER.
9:30 a.m.-4:30 pm on a beautiful, sunny Saturday. All for JACK!!! Lots of poking and prodding = A script for Provera to stop bleeding and follow up with my OBGYN in 2 days.
So looks like the Ablation was a fat waste of time. And I may now need the hysterectomy.
I am angry!!!

I don't blame you for being angry...how horrible that you had to go through that. I hope your medication works at least.

Oh, Jess, I'm so, so sorry. You don't deserve this.
Can't they give you something to help with the cramping and pain? I hate to hear that you suffer.
I'm keeping you in my prayers. Please take care and keep us posted.

Jess,
Darn it! I was so hoping the procedure would work well for you.
Sorry you are bleeding and in so much pain.
Wish I could be there to physically care for you.
Please let us know what your doctor has to say about it.
Take care, rest and I pray that your pain subsides.

I can't believe you've been through this, TWICE. Poor, poor you.
I hope you have something for pain.
Are you proud of me? I read a gynie problem post and didn't get the eebie-jeebies. The things you do for your friends!
Hope you have a better night.

Oh Jess - that totally sucks! I have no other words to describe it...any gyno problems are never pleasant but that just sucks.
Hope the meds help and you are at least comfortable for the next few days. And that you don't have to undergo major surgery.

**read at your own risk, strong OB/GYN materials**
aww Jess. I just wrote you a PM before I saw this. I'm sorry. I too wish I could be there to take care of you. Nobody knows how to take care of these girl problems like a girl. I'd love to wrap you up in heating pads and give you cool ice for your head, rub your back gently for the cramps. I find all these things are really great for deep cramps. If possible, mention it to hubs..he may be able to help you out.
I also have this lovely little warm water squirt bottle for your area..a true blessing. I got it when I tore during birth. It is the nicest thing for when you have been bleeding for a while and generally feel unclean and/or are sore from pads, tampons, wiping, poking and proding. I use mine during every menstrual cycle because the warm water feels so great and it makes you feel very refreshed all day without having to take showers constantly.
If need be, I can find one similar to mine online and send you the url so you can get it ASAP because I truly believe that no matter what women problem you have..this is a fantastic thing to stock in the house. I believe they sell them at pharmacies. If there is anything at all you need me to do for you or even you just want to talk..please hun, let me know.

Sorry to hear that Jess. LG's water bottle suggestion is good, I'm on the look out for one for post birth after a friend highly recommended the same to me.
Big hugs
