visual disturbances filling whole days

I used to get visual disturbance every morning and it would gradually go away throughout the day but it would be back again the next morning. Now I am having them for whole days and I have to sleep for hours on end because they are so bad.

Yesterday I woke up with them so bad that my brain couldn't work out what it was looking at and came up with alternatives, one of which was my old french teacher from when I was 14, floating in the middle of my wardrobe. I didn't even know I could remeber what he looked like till yesterday!

I felt so sick with the feeling as though the floor was moving I went back to sleep till 4.30 in the afternoon. I am not prescribed anything yet because my doc is hoping I will see the specialist soon, but I've had enough.
